According to the 2010 Census, of the total population of 350,876 of persons above the age of 25 years, 50.5 per cent were High school graduates or higher and 7.8 per cent had bachelor’s degree or higher education. The median household income in 2009 inflation adjusted dollars was $23,073 as compared to that of the U. S. A. being $ 51,425. The ratio of per capita income at $ 12,029 to $ 27,041 of the U. S. A. was better progression as the figures in 1999 were $9803 and $21,587 respectively. The data collected by the American Community Survey also shows that 36.8 per cent of the families in this area live below poverty level as compared to that of the U. S. A. being 9.9 per cent. Individuals below poverty line make up 39.2 per cent as compared to 13.5 per cent of the U. S. A. The number of householders living alone is 62,123 where the average family size is 3.64. The ROOTS OF THE COLD WAR started when the Americans and the Soviets found out they had different systems of economy. Then the Americans and Soviets started to lose trust in each other. In the Yalta Conference, Stalin promised an established â€Å"broadly representative† government and free elections in Eastern Europe and to divide Germany only temporarily into zones of occupation, but he didn’t follow through. After, the American’s needed to MEET THE SOVIET CHALLENGE, because Truman thought that the Stalin had ambitions toward world domination. He wanted to face the Soviets head on. He feared that if the US retreated to isolation the peace and welfare of the nations would be in danger. To solve the soviet challenge, the Americans felt the needed to CONTAIN THE SOVIET EXPANSION. They created the Marshall Plan, which would provide food to famine, fuel to warm houses and factories, and jump start the economic growth. It would help them also by increasing their trade with other nations. After everything that happen the COLD WAR starts to HEAT UP. Stalin gets frustrated and wanted the East Berliners to stay in the East and not go over to the prosperous West. He blockades the roads, stops barges and blocks railways, but the Americans found a way to overcome that challenge, and used airplanes. The Americans made NATO, and the Soviets created the Warsaw Pact. Many things contributed to how the Cold War begins like, the Soviet Challenge, how Americans needed to meet the Soviet Challenge, and the how the Cold War heated up.

They need to hone their awareness to make their interpretations reliable guides for action. The disadvantage of this for this project was that nobody was knowledgeable about the baggage system (DCV system). They were already designing and building the terminals before a decision was made about the baggage system.The matrix organizational structure may have been a better fit in this case. This type of structure works best for long term projects. This type of structure creates teams based on the skill set of the employee. Employees would be placed based on their skills and they can focus on that task and not be pulled in many d irections or multiple tasks at one time. Communication will improve. Since employees have constant contact with members of different functional areas, the matrix structure allows for information and resources to travel more fluidly between those functional areas.The collaboration between functional areas allows a project team to better handle complex challenges and objectives.
